The Parks Conservancy partners with the Cape Fear Garden Club to plant azaleas in New Hanover County’s parks through our Plant an Azalea program. For a donation of $15, New Hanover County Parks & Gardens will plant an azalea in a county park or garden. The donor will receive a Plant an Azalea card, featuring a beautiful painting by local artist Barbara Bear Jameson, to keep or give to a loved one to honor their donation. Plant an Azalea cards may be purchased online, in the gift shop at Airlie Gardens, or by contacting 910-798-7703. To date, more than 500 azaleas have been planted in our parks!
