In addition to the centerpiece freshwater lake, this park off Gordon and Harris Roads, near I-40 includes a playground, picnic shelter with restrooms and 1.3 paved multi-purpose trail. There is a floating dock where you can fish and launch a kayak or other non-motorized boat. Catch-and-release fishing is allowed with a valid NC fishing permit.
