Help us maintain and enhance our tree canopies! Maintaining a healthy tree canopy has never been more important. We lost hundreds of trees to Hurricane Florence and your donation can help us in our efforts to re-plant what we lost and make our tree canopy beautiful for generations to come!
What better way to recognize someone special in your life and support the planting and care of trees than through a memorial, honorarium, special occasion or holiday gift in their honor to The Parks Conservancy of New Hanover County. Our tree canopy is part of what makes our parks so special. From the longleaf pines at Long Leaf Park to the majestic live oaks at Airlie Gardens, we welcome donations to help maintain and enhance our tree canopies.
All contributions go to the “Great Things Take Time to Grow” campaign for much-needed tree-planting. We will work with you to select the tree species and park. Please note that we do not install donor plaques on individual trees.
Please contact Janine Powell to discuss options for tree species and available parks. 910-798-7703 or jpowell@nhcgov.com
