Pump Track & Skills Course

A pump track is a specially designed outdoor facility for wheeled riders that features a winding track with various bumps and jumps.  The track is designed to provide riders with the ultimate experience by incorporating various obstacles that develop their skills and abilities.  New Hanover County Parks & Gardens is adding new park amenities to Northern Regional Park, including the addition of a pump track.  Donations to the pump track may be used for construction, landscaping, signage or other features of the pump track.

General Donation

General donations allow the Parks Conservancy to respond to the greatest needs across New Hanover County’s parks.  Whether it’s building a playground or trail, protecting natural habitats, supporting educational programs or enhancing visitor experiences, your donation helps ensure these treasured spaces thrive now and for future generations.

Plant an Azalea

The Parks Conservancy partners with the Cape Fear Garden Club to plant azaleas in New Hanover County’s parks through the Plant an Azalea program.  For each $15 donation, New Hanover County Parks & Gardens will plant an azalea in a county park or garden.  To date, more than 500 azaleas have been planted in our parks!

For each azalea purchased donors receive a Plant an Azalea card, designed by local artist Barbara Bear Jameson, to keep or give to a loved one to honor their donation.  Plant an Azalea cards may be purchased in the Airlie Gardens Gift Shop (300 Airlie Rd), the New Hanover County Parks & Gardens Office (896 Airlie Rd) or online by completing the form below.
